Wait till it is on special before buying it would be the best thing to do.. For me, "Labyrinth" is the undisputed highlight of the Grisaia trilogy. Whilst others may (fairly) criticize it for its perceived lack of content when compared to its predecessor, I personally feel it offers a much more consistent experience, which is, in part, due to the shorter game length.It's also in (no small) part due to the main arcs focus on some of the more interesting characters & relationships, especally Yuuji, JB, & Asako. Also, unlike "Fruit", all five of the side stories in Grisasia are pretty enjoyable, but in return, none of them are particularly special, either - They're just low\/low reward slide of life fillers, which works for me, as I believe both "Fruit" & "Eden" have serious issues when it comes to getting the most out of their emotional plot ideas...The art is just as consistent as the first game, but the OST doesn't feel anywhere near fresh enough, seeing how most of it is taken straight from "Fruit". The opening\/ending songs, however, are very good indeed. Technically, the game still has one of the most frustratingly useless auto modes known to man, but at least this one has cloud saving.I guess whether or not you'll prefer this game to the titles it's sandwiched between will come down to preference, but if you, like myself, found Yuuji & JB more interesting than all of the sidekicks, & want to learn a little bit about what got them to where they are today, then the main arc of Labyrinth is definitely worth 10-15 hours of your time.. If you played the Fruit of Grisaia and liked it, there's no way you should miss out on this sequel. And if you haven't played the first game, go experience that before this one, even if you think you might understand the characters and plot from the anime or other means.This game is much, much shorter than the first, and I'll admit I went into it expecting a long, epic experience. What I got was a short sequel to each of the 5 main girls' routes, a whole bunch of short vignettes (side stories), and the main arc of the game, which made the whole thing worthwhile. I played the 5 character routes and main story in the order they were presented in the menu, which had me playing through each girl's sequel before delving into the meat of the game. The 5 character stories were nice enough, and gave me a chance to spend a little more time with each girl, but the developments and revelations contained within were nowhere near on the level of the first game. In fact, many of the situations in these stories just felt like setups for fanservicey adult scenes, which are not even included in this Steam version of the game. At the end of these, I kind of felt like there hadn't been much point in them without the adult content, and this is coming from someone who does not enjoy that kind of content at all.Thankfully, the "grand arc" is on the same quality level as the first game, and delves into Yuuji's past in the ways that anyone who played the first game was probably hoping for. We know enough about Yuuji from the first game that not everything is a shock or a surprise, but there are plenty of new surprises to discover. It was awesome to see how all the things that were hinted at in the first game really played out, and the experience really paints some of the scenes from the first game in a new light. The ending will leave you wanting more, since it's one of those "really sudden cliffhanger ending" games, but fortunately the third game is already out on Steam and ready for you to enjoy (and it does continue right from the end of this game, with no pointless filler)!The little side stories were also amusing and gave me a chance to spend even more time with the lovable girls of Grisaia. I probably enjoyed them more than the actual character routes, though playing them after the cliffhanger main arc was kind of weird! They might be better enjoyed first, since they have no relevant plot points.. this game just fine. Yuuji here vote for my Yumiko Pyon ♥. Just putting up reviews so ya all can see the lights in VNs on steam. honestly when i saw this came out i was so hyped i bought it right away but when i saw to h-scences it went to check if there was a patch for it. but i found out in my search that they even cut out the dirty jokes in this version and now i feel extremely disapionted cause now i don't feel like i got what i paid for one of the best parts about grisaia was its dirty jokes. honestly i could live without the h-scenes its still cut content but in the end they didn't add anything but by cencoring the diaolge like that that are harming the core content it self. now i am going to have to re-go over the routes i finished when the 18+ version realeses to get the full experience and i hate re-reading stuff i have already read. this whole thing has actualy♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥me off. i love this series and the fact that i can never truly get the full experience anymore makes me angry. and i honestly feel cheated out of my money because they altered the core content.in short if you really like grisaia wait for the 18+ version regardless if you want h-scences for the full experience.. overpriced.Still Grisaia, why not.you can't be that satisfy from just completing Kajitsu right?buy this!
